VISIONARY ARTIST || DESIGNER || TEACHER

Hello! My name is Christina, but you can also call me Chris, Chrissy, or Christine.

Don’t mind the gray hair and a few wrinkles here and there—it’s all part of the journey! 🙂

I’ve recently retired and am thrilled to be stepping into a new chapter as a full-time professional artist for the first time! I’m beyond excited about this new phase of life. I’ve been busy painting and creating new watercolor artworks, enjoying every moment of it.

Hubby and I recently added patios to both our front and back yards, where I’ve been planting a variety of succulents and setting up outdoor furniture, creating a cozy and beautiful space. My husband is about to retire soon, and we’re looking forward to exploring this new adventure together! After 42 years of working hard and living life, it’s finally time to enjoy some freedoms we’ve long awaited.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME!

I am versatile artist based in Vacaville, CA, whose creative journey spans across various mediums. With a passion for self-expression and a knack for blending different techniques,  my artistic repertoire includes handmade watercolors, mixed media, acrylic paintings, captivating art dolls, and unique art jewelry.

Having honed my craft over the years, I have garnered recognition for my work, being featured in four issues of Jewelry Affaire magazine, including the esteemed Editor’s Choice section. My innovative approach to art has also caught the attention of the art community, earning me a feature in Painting Magazine.

Beyond my artistic endeavors, I find fulfillment in my roles outside the studio. As a dedicated board member of the Vacaville Art Gallery, I actively contribute to the flourishing art scene in my community, fostering creativity and collaboration among fellow artists. I share my expertise by teaching in-person art classes at the Vacaville Art Gallery and online at wingsnscales.com. I also enjoy making my own watercolor paints which I now sell on RippledWaves.com

Ever the creative explorer, I am constantly seeking new techniques and inspirations to expand her artistic horizons. Whether experimenting with new mediums or refining my existing skills, I approache each project with enthusiasm, curiosity and intention.

I worked in the Special Education field for 30 years, 25 as a Para Educator and 5 years as the Assistive Technoloy Assistant.  My final year, I was awarded Classified of the Year in Technology.  I was also awarded The CAC award several years prior, that was fun!!!  Working in a Special Ed environment allowed me to share my art and troubleshooting skills. I am grateful for the years of service to those students I have worked with, sharing part of their lives.
