Animals have always held a special place in my life and in my art. Some of the creatures I paint are inspired by my 4 legged children who’ve walked beside me—they are my Spirit Animals, full of meaning and memory. Birds often show up in my work too. I see them as quiet messengers from one of my aunties who’s passed, always nearby, always watching. Each painting is a tribute to the soulful connection I feel with the animal world.
